June 22, 2026
The Board of Commissioners met on the above date at the Teche-Vermilion Fresh Water District office located at 315 South College Rd, Suite 110, Lafayette at 10:00 a.m. Member’s present were: Mr. Edward Sonnier, Mr. Tommy Thibodeaux, Mr. Keith Hensgens, Mr. Donald Segura, and Mr. Samuel Grimmett. In addition, present were: Mr. Donald Sagrera, Ms. Wendy Dupuis, Mrs. Kristy Thibodeaux, Mr. Alex Lopresto, Mr. Dee Stanley, Mr. Dion Broussard, Mr. Ivy Thibodeaux, Mr. Whitney Broussard, Mr. Lewis Bernard, P.E., Mr. Jeff Hensley, P.E., Mr. Pete Delcambre, Mr. Larry Cramer, Mr. Jon Larson, Mrs. Amanda Blanchard, Mr. Kyle Stakes and Mr. Nicholas Langlanis.
At this time of the Public meeting, the Chairman called for any public comment regarding the Agenda. There was no comment.
Upon motion by Mr. Segura and seconded by Mr. Hensgens, the minutes of the previous meeting of May 19, 2026, were accepted and approved. Motion unanimously carried.
Update on the Ruth Canal project, great progress on the plans should be done in about two weeks.
Update on Loreauville Control Structure, the specification required will consist of furnishing and delivering specified hinge and pintle wear and replacement parts for the pair of Sector Gates, along with all associated work. Blueline Manufacturing has the correct materials to perform manufacturing the parts and will provide a price to manufactory the parts requested.

In addition, present were: Mr. Donald Sagrera, Ms. Wendy Dupuis, Mrs. Kristy Thibodeaux, Mr. Alex Lopresto, Mr. Corey Hulin, Mr. Dee Stanley, Mr. Dion Broussard, Mr. Philip Parker, and Mrs. Amanda Blanchard,
At this time of the Public meeting, the Chairman called for any public comment regarding the Agenda. There was no comment.
Upon motion by Mr. Thibodeaux and seconded by Mr. Hensgens, the minutes of the previous meeting of April 28, 2026, were accepted and approved. Motion unanimously carried.
Update on the Ruth Canal project, alignments and layouts have been finalized, they are in the process of calculating project quantities for the inclusion in the construction cost estimate and project permit.
Update on Borrow Pit Control Structure trash screen has been installed, and all is working as planned. Project is complete
Update on Refurbishing Old Office Building, The Sellers Group is waiting on the Contractor to sign the contracts and return them with the contractors’ insurance and bonds. Then a preconstruction meeting will be scheduled.

MINUTES OF MEETING
TECHE-VERMILION FRESH WATER DISTRICT
March 31, 2026
The Board of Commissioners met on the above date at the Teche-Vermilion Fresh Water District office located at 315 South College, Suite 110, Lafayette at 10:00 a.m. Member’s present were: Mr. Edward Sonnier, Mr. Tommy Thibodeaux, Mr. Keith Hensgens, Mr. Donald Segura, and Mr. Samuel Grimmett. In addition, present were: Mr. Donald Sagrera, Ms. Wendy Dupuis, Mr. Larry Carmer, PE, PLS, Mrs. Kristy Thibodeaux, Mr. Alex Lopresto, Mr. Whitney Broussard, Mr. Corey Hulin, Mr. Dion Broussard, Mr. Ivy Thibodeaux, Mr. Pete Delcambre, Mr. Jason Ward, and Mr. Louis Bernard
At this time the Public meeting, the Chairman called for any public comment regarding the Agenda. There was no comment.
Upon motion by Mr. Hensgens and seconded by Mr. Segura, the minutes of the previous meeting of February 24, 2026, were accepted and approved. Motion unanimously carried.
The board approved the April 28, 2026, Board Meeting to be held in Krotz Springs at the Pump Station.
Update on Refurbishing old office building, the bids will be opened on April 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Upon motion by Mr. Hensgens and seconded by Mr. Thibodeaux, the Board approved moving forward with an additional new building for Switchgear. Motion unanimously carried.

Upon motion by Mr. Segura, and seconded by Mr. Thibodeaux, the Board amended the agenda to move into New Business for Jon Larson with Regions to present the Investment Review.

Upon motion by Mr. Thibodeaux, and seconded by Mr. Hensgens, the Board moved to amend the agenda to move back into Old Business. Motion unanimously carried.
