CALL TO ORDER: Payne Williams called the meeting to order. The commission
reviewed the minutes from the May 21, 2026, Full Commission Meeting. Motion
to approve the May 21, 2026 minutes with made by Lee Akin 2nd by Trinity
Sanders. All approved, motion passes.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Payne Williams, discussion on the financial statement
as of May 31, 2026. Our balance as of May 31, 2026 is $241,433.45. Check
register for May is $48,308.67. Motion to approve the executive committee
reviewed and approved the April 30, 2026 financial statement made by Gayle
Howell and 2nd by Paige Alost. All approved, motion passes.
NEW BUSINESS:
2026-2027 Budget : Payne Williams stated that we presented the 2026 – 2027
Budget at last month’s meeting. We didn’t have any concerns at the meeting.
Valencia Jones made a motion to approve the 2026 – 2027 Budget and 2nd by
Rebecca Blankenbaker. All approved, motion passes.
Payne Williams stated that the Officers for NHDDC will serve another year
term, if you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

CALL TO ORDER: Jill Leo called the meeting to order. The commission
reviewed the minutes from the April 16, 2026, Full Commission Meeting.
Rebecca Blankenbaker made an amendment to the Main Street update, it is
Elizabeth Whitlow and not Emily Whitlow. Motion to approve the April 16,
2026 minutes with the amendment made by Rebecca Blankenbaker 2nd by Trinity
Sanders. All approved, motion passes.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Jessica Broadway, discussion on the financial
statement as of April 30, 2026. Our balance as of April 30, 2026 is
$289,731.92. Check register for April is $10,316.67. Motion to approve the
executive committee reviewed and approved the April 30, 2026 financial
statement made by Van Erikson and 2nd by Payne Williams. All approved,
motion passes.

Valencia Jones. All approved, motion passes.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Payne Williams, discussion on the financial statement
as of March 31, 2026. Our balance as of March 31, 2026 is $300,036.61.
Check register for March is $46,169.79. Motion to approve the March 31,
2026 financial statement made by Rebecca Blankenbaker and 2nd by Trinity
Sanders. All approved, motion passes. We will start a new fiscal year in
June 2026. If anyone has any changes or update for the 2026-2027 budget,
please get that to our exec committee.
NEW BUSINESS:
2026-2027 Budget – Jill Leo. Jill stated that the executive committee is
beginning to work on the new budget. Please submit any additions or
correctios for next years budget. We will present at the May meeting. We
will vote on the budget in June 2026.
Jill Leo gave an update for HDBA. They are working on their 100th

Rebecca Blankenbaker gave an update on the BOM Bank Sculpture Unveiling.
Thank you to everyone who came out to see the Tulip sculpture as a part of
the Natchitoches in Bloom sculpture project. This is the 3rd sculpture.
Artist submitted designs and this design was by Corbin Cohver. The
Louisiana Iris is the last sculpture in the set of four, should be unveiled
in April in City Park. Then, Natchitoches in Bloom Sculpture series will
