MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY Commissioner Ondresky at 5:43 P.M.

1. Ryan & Cindy Eckes pertaining to Carpenter Preserve
2. Mark Ellis email pertaining to Island Park naming
MSC Ondresky/Hillstrom to accept the correspondence as presented and to place in the minutes.

Minutes
MSC Hillstrom/Galloway to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2026 Commission Meeting. All
voting aye.
Bill Vouchers
Commissioner Ondresky reviewed the vouchers for July and found them to be in order.
Mission Action Report
The report was distributed earlier. The following items were discussed:
Commissioner Ondresky complimented staff on what appeared to be another successful
Filthy Fun Run event. Superintedent Butteris noted that we had a strong showing of
volunteers and staff to fill all the spots.
Commissioner Galloway inquired about the trestles. Director Kading noted that a tree had
fallen on the bridge and that Superintendent Fink observed what might be structural
issues and wants to bring in an engineer to review and make recommendations.
Commissioner Hillstrom noted that CommunityFest was a huge success. There is a need
for younger volunteers.

indicated a quorum of the Board was in attendance. Chairperson Burkett proceeded to read the
Announcement of Proceedings for the Boards of Appeals meeting and swore in the members of the
Board.
1. Variance Request – 324 Bosworth Lane – Section 26-152(1) – Front Yard Setback for an Accessory
Structure
Deputy Director Schmidt went over the variance request of 324 Bosworth Lane from Section 26-
152(1). The applicant is requesting a variance to reduce the front yard setback for an accessory
structure, a shed, from the required 25 feet to eight feet.
