CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING Chair Dobson called the Regular Meeting to order at 9:01 AM with Supervisors Mecak, Griffith, Dobson, and Woodrow present. Supervisor Jim was present via teleconference. 1.1. Take nominations and appoint the Chair of the Board of Supervisors for calendar year 2026; Appoint Board members to committees/commissions/boards and similar bodies for calendar year 2026. The presiding officers shall also serve as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Local Transportation Commission, the County Board of Equalization and the County Water Agency, when such bodies are called into session. — County Clerk Supervisor Woodrow nominated Supervisor Griffith for Board Chair. MOTION Terry Woodrow / SECOND Evan Mecak nominating David Griffith as the Chair of the Board of Supervisors for the calendar year 2026. AYES: Charles Dobson, Evan Mecak, Irvin Jim, Terry Woodrow, David Griffith; MOTION PASSED. Chair Griffith presented Supervisor Dobson with a plaque for service as Chair of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors during calendar year 2025.
