Council to consider new police sergeant position and COLA
The Alturas City Council will act on consent agenda items including warrants of $116,988.17 and an ACH report of $162,961.22. Discussion items include a request from Modoc Crisis Center to place awareness signs on Main Street, a 3% COLA for the Safety Unit, a new APD Checkpoint Policy required for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant, and the creation of a second Sergeant position and a Patrol Officer position.
