Chairman Pritchard reported that he had done extensive research on the stipulations and application

Chairman Pritchard attended the Summit, as well as Village Trustees Kula and Cullins. He had
distributed a document he received that day that list out Route 30’s Corridor’s strengths, challenges

2027. The group meets every third Monday of each month at 7pm at Village Hall, and members
were encouraged to attend.
County Watershed-based planning
Chairman Pritchard attended an April 23rd meeting of the DeKalb County Regional Planning
Commission and heard a presentation the DeKalb County Watershed Project. The purpose of
the project is to make communities aware of water management, supply and conservation as
they make their plans for development in the future. …

Quirk. Roll call:

Jernigan, Trustee Russell Kula, Trustee Brian Siwicki and Trustee Jamie Whitlock. Quorum

PRESIDENT’S REPORT
For Discussion: Propose an amendment to 2021 Building Code to allow any building 200 square feet or
smaller to be erected without a concrete slab. With the new building codes we adopted last year, there
is a requirement for all sheds to be placed on a concrete slab. This is deterring some residents from
purchasing shed as it’s costly. Discussion followed. The board felt that a change should be made
however it was suggested that the limit should state not to exceed 150 square feet …
