Chair Ann Lemons called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Commission members present
were Chair Ann Lemons, Vice Chair LaPortia Hurse, Lawrence Ott, Ryan Childress,

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 142.063 of the Texas Local Government
Code, notice is hereby given of “meet and confer” deliberations between
representatives of the City of Forney, Texas, and representatives of the Forney
Fire Association. The deliberations will be held in the City Hall - Conference Room,
401 Pinson Road, 1st Floor, Forney, Texas, on Tuesday, 12‘ day of May 2026, from
8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
General Information Applicable to the Meeting:
Members of the public are welcome to attend and monitor the deliberations, but
active participation in the discussions or presentations is expressly prohibited
unless otherwise permitted by the ground rules established between the City and
Association representatives. Notwithstanding the open nature of the meetings,
Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, together with Section 142.063 of

Chair Ann Lemons called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Commission members present
were Chair Ann Lemons, Vice Chair LaPortia Hurse, Lawrence Ott, Ryan Childress, and
Lawrence McCall. Natasha Rivera and Larry Frazier were absent. City staff present were
Director of Community Development Peter Morgan, Senior Planner Alex Dixon,
Assistant City Manager Karl Zook, and Board Secretary Kylee Goodson.
