Council proposes permanent base expenditure limit adjustment for November election.

The Paradise Valley Town Council will vote on a rule change allowing more than three members to attend meetings remotely. The council will also consider a resolution to propose a permanent adjustment to the town’s 1979-1980 base expenditure limit for the November 3 general election. A closed executive session will be held for legal consultation.

Planning Commission

Franciscan Renewal Center major special use permit amendment up for vote

The Planning Commission will discuss and vote on a major special use permit amendment for the Franciscan Renewal Center at 5802 E Lincoln Drive. They will also hold public hearings for a minor SUP amendment for Camelback Bible Church and a minor SUP for the Paradise Valley DoubleTree Resort. The meeting includes a study session, approval of minutes, and other procedural items.

Council to vote on $3.9M street maintenance program

The council will consider approving a $3.9 million pavement preservation program for Invergordon Rd, Chaparral Rd, District 3, remaining portion of District 6, and a portion of Desert Fairways. They will also vote on $490,000 for eight new vehicles and $190,000 in community services funding. Other actions include a liquor license transfer for the Kimpton Miralina Resort and recognition of the Paradise Valley Youth Council.

Hillside Building Committee
