cycle. Renewals will be sent by mail and will be posted on the website.

Brand new exams will be published, currently reviewing and planning instructor classes.
Expired appointments from LA Conference as well as vacancies, will investigate what to do
regarding LA Conference appointees since LA Conference has not been active for quite some
time.

wastewater, and Baton Rouge wastewater.
Operator Certification program intends to begin newsletter for all operators soon via email in
order to more readily send program updates.

Vern Breland and Joanne Massony were reappointed to the Committee. Patrick Edmond was appointed to the Committee. One vacant position on the Committee (to fill the vacancy of past chair, Dirk Barrios), to be recommended by the Louisiana Conference Chair.
ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
Credit card payment is going well. Over 100 operators have used this method to renew their certificates. We will be testing the credit card exam payment for new certificates. Once testing is complete, it will be made active.

The administrator had 2 reciprocity request and recommended approval of the following operators and certification levels. In accordance with the rule, the Committee of Certification must make the final approval on all reciprocity request.
Mr. Dereck McLoud, Arkansas, qualifies for Wastewater Treatment Class 3 certification.
Mr. Freddie Cox, Alabama, qualifies for Wastewater Treatment Class 4, Water Production, Distribution and Treatment Class 1 certifications.

beginning January 1, 2017). Discussion on HB995.
4.) ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
Tom reported that the DHH name has been changed to DH. Official name is now Louisiana
Department of Health.
The administrator had 3 reciprocity request and recommended approval of the following
operators and certification levels. In accordance with the rule, the Committee of Certification
