Regular City Council Meeting

Council to consider ordinance calling special election to dissolve DART

The council will hold a work session to present the new Comprehensive Plan, Advance Addison, and discuss the Bond Advisory Committee's recommendation for a bond election to fund a police and courts facility. In the open meeting, the council will act on several consent agenda items authorizing purchases of cybersecurity equipment, internet services, and street crack sealing contracts. The council will also consider an individual ordinance calling a special election on May 2, 2026 to dissolve the Dallas Area Rapid Transit System in Addison.
