Minutes:
The special meeting of the Rose Hill City Council was called to order @1:00 p.m. by
Mayor Jeanine Schantz. Present were Councilmembers Mary Jo Jurey, Michelle Bollig,
James Woydziak, Robert Varner and David Close. City Administrator Warren Porter was
also present. Mayor Schantz presented to the Governing Body the executed Request
for Special Meeting signed and presented by four council members. The purpose of the
Special Meeting was to interview City Administrator candidates.

Discussion on Non-Elected Personnel - Interview City Administrator Candidates
Minutes:
At 1:03 p.m. , Councilmember Bollig moved that the Governing Body recess into
Executive Session to discuss personnel matters of non elected personnel regarding the
review of applications and additional information from candidates through an interview
for the position of City Administrator. The open meeting will reconvene in the same
location at 3:30 p.m., seconded by Councilmember Woydziak. The meeting reconvened
at 3:30 p.m. with no further discussion and no binding action taken.

Mayor Jeanine Schantz. Present were Councilmember Mary Jo Jurey, Michelle Bollig,
James Woydziak and Robert Varner. Future Councilmember David Close was also
present. Staff present was City Administrator Warren Porter. Mayor Schantz presented
to the Council the executed Request for Special Meeting signed and presented by all
four City Council members. The purpose of the Special Meeting was to interview a City
Administrator candidate.

At 6:04 p.m., Councilmember Bollig moved that the Governing Body recess into
Executive Session within Council Member appointee David Close, who will be sworn in
to office on February 2, 2026, to discuss personnel matters of non elected personnel
regarding the review of applications and additional information from a candidate
through an interview for the position of City Administrator. We will reconvene the open
meeting in this same location at 7:05 p.m., seconded by Councilmember Jurey.
The meeting reconvened at 7:05 p.m., with no further discussion and no binding action
taken.
