Mark Liebaert called meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL

3. REVIEW OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLAGE LICENSE APPLICATION FOR BOWFEST 2026 FROM MONT DU LAC
RESORT
Application included with agenda; reviewed. All requirements for application have been met thus
far. Town of Superior Fire Department process for services may change to approval process instead
of immediate sign off; Chief to provide fire suppression services estimate (last year was $1,000). Law
Enforcement services to be provided from Douglas County Sheriff. Applicant to be invoiced by
County Clerk and license will be issued upon receipt of payment. If part-time deputies are used and
the rate is lower than originally billed, applicant will be refunded the difference after festival.
To look at review of Ordinance #4.13 for payment and estimate process of fire suppression and law
enforcement services due to over and underestimates every year.
Permit approval conditional on fire and emergency personnel being present. No other concerns
expressed by committee.
