Call Meeting to Order — 5:33 p.m.
Statement of Compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act:
The notice requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act for this meeting have been satisfied; a
copy of the Annual Meetings Notice was sent to the Atlantic City Press, and the Courier Post,
posted on the Bulletin Board in the Municipal Building, the Municipal Website, and filed in the
office of the Municipal Clerk.
Johanna Casey Reads the statement of compliance, followed with the flag salute and roll call is
taken.
Roll Call — Board of Commissioners:
Mayor Collins and Commissioner Blumberg were present. Commissioner Horn was absent. Chief
Daniel Adams, Chief Matthew Hankinson, Roger McLarnon, Palma Shiles, Patrick Power,
Johanna Casey, Patrick Moran and Scott Abbot, Esquire were present.
Approval of Minutes:
The minutes from the May 7, 2026 Workshop Meeting & Regular Meeting were approved as read
on motion by Commissioner Blumberg, seconded by Mayor Collins, with a vote of two ayes.
Public Comment (Resolutions and Ordinance Adoption Only):
Edward Berger, President Margate Business Association: Speaks on Ordinance #07-2026,
which is up for adoption at this commission meeting. The association suggests limiting the
