ROLL CALL The City of Wauseon Clerk of Council; present were Council President Chamberlin, and Councilors, Heising, Tijerina, Simon, Hite, and Galbraith to constitute a quorum for the transaction of city business. The Village of Swanton took roll; present were Mayor Neil Toeppe, Councilman Noah Kreuz, Councilman David Pilliod, Councilwoman Pat Pilliod, Councilman John Schmidt, and Councilwoman Dianne Westhoven. Job Description Changes Michelle Wing (HR) provided the committee with five job descriptions up for review. Grounds Keeper 2, Grounds Keeper 3, Assistant Water Treatment Plant Superintendent, Code Administrator (revision of title) and Park Manager. The city is looking to fill the positions for Ground Keeper 2 and 3. There were minor changes to the position descriptions, Grounds Keeper 3 will be full time to help Park Manager and Grounds Keeper 2 will be seasonal. Grounds Keeper have been pulled away from the WRA and will no longer be their responsibility. Martin has been promoted from Grounds Keeper to Park manager. They can also complete their projects faster. • Construction companies have been going through the county than the city. • Companies are leaving projects undone and wires exposed and hitting lines from boring to deep. • Tucker is finding that communications with whoever is in control of the projects are not having control of their depth control. • Companies are parking vehicles in driveways, going on private property and installing in the city’s right of ways installing lines that were not approved. • Discussion was had on a possible bonding percentage before boring. • The policy has been tabled until the Optic Fiber Policy Standards are revised. • There were no recommendations or actions at this time.
