MEETING MINUTES
The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026
beginning at 9:30 AM in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers at the Klickitat County
Services Building, 115 W Court St. Goldendale, Washington 98620. Commissioner Ron Ihrig,
Commissioner Todd Andrews and Commissioner Lori Zoller were present.
9:30 AM PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT UPDATE
Public Works Director Jeff Hunter and County Engineer Seth Scarola updated the Board on
department operations and upcoming projects.
9:43 AM COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR UPDATE
County Administrator Robb Van Cleave updated the Board on the Code Compliance fine update
timeline, fleet and other policy updates, and upcoming workshops. Jail Administrator Bill Frantz
updated the Board on the Department of Corrections.
10:08 PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTEMENT UPDATE
Public and Behavioral Health Director Erinn Quinn updated the Board on state mandated budget
reductions.

9:30 AM PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT UPDATE
Public Works Director Jeff Hunter and County Engineer Seth Scarola provided an update on
Consent Agenda items, construction and road design, maintenance projects on the west and east
ends, upcoming facilities work, events, Solid Waste, and other follow-ups. Chairman Ihrig
recognized the Public Works Department and presented the Certificate of Good Practice
Appreciation and resolution from the CRABoard. The Board also noted the Dallesport
Wastewater rates workshop is scheduled for June 18, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR ROBB VAN CLEA VE DEPARTMENT UPDATE
Administrator Robb Van Cleave and Senior Services Director Sharon Cater updated the Board on
Consent Agenda items, Senior Picnic scheduled for Friday, May 15, at Daubenspeck Park in White
Salmon, and a quote for vehicle repairs.

The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 beginning at
9:30 AM in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers at the Klickitat County Services Building,
115 W Court St. Goldendale, Washington 98620. Commissioner Ron Ihrig, Commissioner Todd
Andrews and Commissioner Lori Zoller were present.
9:32 AM COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR UPDATE
County Administrator Robb Van Cleave provided an update regarding the contract with
Moetivations for the Emergency Management Department, as well as the transfer of the
department to Public Works. The Board also discussed naming the new Emergency
Communications/911 Department and agreed on the name “Klickitat County 911 Dispatch”.
