Council to consider annexing 5,722 acres and rezoning to Light Industrial

The Village Council will hold first readings on ordinances to annex 5,722 acres near SW Kanner Highway and Warfield Blvd, and to change its future land use designation to Light Industrial. The Council will also consider a major site plan for 71 single-family lots, an offer to buy property at 16870 SW Charleston Street for $275,000, and discuss top priorities for 2026.

Planning, Zoning, and Appeals Board

Board to recommend annexation of 5,722 acres and rezone to Light Industrial

The Planning, Zoning, and Appeals Board is considering three items on the regular agenda, all with staff recommendations for approval.
