Mayor CJ Leslie called the meeting to order at 7 :0 0 p.m. Roll Call: council members present were Everett
Summers , Summer Staley , Virgil Gallegos , absent, Bob Bowers . A quorum was established. Everyone stood
and said the pledge of allegiance. Employees present were Clerk /Treasurer Jodi Newkirk , Chief water
operator, Rick Stricklin, and Maintena nce man Brian Jensen .
Summers made a motion to accept April 4 , 2026 , regular meeting minutes , second by Gallegos , all ayes,
motion carried .
Maintenance Department Report:
Staley made a motion to accept the maintenance report as presented, second by Summers , all ayes, motion

Water/Wastewater Department Report:
Gallegos made a motion to accept the water report as presented, second by Staley , all ayes, motion

water intake up above the interstate to serve the town. After discussion, Council felt that it would be worthy to
