Janet Coulter, resident of Laramie spoke in opposition of the Bingham Zoning Change that was approved a previous meeting and has asked for the boards reconsideration of that said approval. MOTION by Gosar to CLOSET the Public Comment at 9:36 a .m. Roll call showed Gosar, Hoff and Jones . Aye. MOTION CARRIED. 5 . Consideration of changes on the agenda. 6. Disclosures. 7 . 1 5 5 Town of Rock River Regular Meeting May 4 , 2026 Mayor CJ Leslie called the meeting to order at 7 :0 0 p.m. Roll Call: council members present were Everett Summers , Summer Staley , Virgil Gallegos , absent, Bob Bowers . A quorum was established. Everyone stood and said the pledge of allegiance. Employees present were Clerk /Treasurer Jodi Newkirk , Chief water operator, Rick Stricklin, and Maintena nce man Brian Jensen . Summers made a motion to accept April 4 , 2026 , regular meeting minutes , second by Gallegos , all ayes, motion carried . Maintenance Department Report: Staley made a motion to accept the maintenance report as presented, second by Summers , all ayes, motion carried. Copies of report are available in the clerk ’s office. Water/Wastewater Department Report: Gallegos made a motion to accept the water report as presented, second by Staley , all ayes, motion carried. Copies of the report are available in the clerk's office. Treasurers Report : Gallegos made a motion to accept the treasurer ’s report as presented, second by S ummers , all ayes, motion carried. Public : Joe Bowers asked the council if there would be any interest in researching the feasibility of putting a water intake up above the interstate to serve the town. After discussion, Council felt that it would be worthy to investigate. Airloom Energy made a presentation for the council .
