Minutes of the May 11, 2026 Regular Meeting of the Yancey County Board of Commissioners Held at 6:00 pm in the Yancey County Courtroom Yancey County Courthouse, Burnsville North Carolina Present at the meeting held May 11, 2026, were Chairman Jeff Whitson, Vice Chairman Mark Ledford, Commissioner Stacey McEntyre Greene, Commissioner David Grindstaff, County Manager Lynn Austin, County Attorney Donny Laws. Clerk to the Board Morgan West and Commissioner Sandi Norton were absent from the meeting. Members of the media and the general public attended the meeting. Minutes of the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget Work Sessions Special Meeting of the Yancey County Board of Commissioners Commissioners' Meeting Room, Yancey County Courthouse, Burnsville, North Carolina Present at the meeting held Monday, April 27th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. were Chairman Jeff Whitson, Vice Chairman Mark Ledford, Commissioner Stacey McEntyre Green, Commissioner David Grindstaff, Commissioner Sandi Norton, County Manager Lynn Austin, County Finance Officer Brandi Burleson, and Clerk to the Board Morgan West.
