Oyster Task Force to hear on ocean acidification, LOOP oil spill impacts
The Louisiana Oyster Task Force will meet to hear a presentation on ocean acidification and its effects on shellfish, discuss LOOP oil spill damages and economic impacts, and receive updates on current legislative bills. The meeting also includes committee reports on enforcement, aquaculture, and marketing, as well as discussions on updating harvester license training and oyster processor onshore culling.
