WORKSHOP MEETING— 6: 00 PM
WORKSHOP DECLARATION OF A QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor May declareda quorum. Councilmemberspresent: Mayor Greg May, Charlie Burch, Tim
Holtkamp, Jimmy Rogers, and Jim Mastergeorge. Councilmembers absent: Donnie Finn and
MayorProTemJeremyStivener.
WORKSHOP AGENDA
Discussion related to any of the following items:
1. Consider the minutes from the April 7, 2026, City Council Workshop and Regular
Meeting.
Councilmember Rogers inquired as to why the minutes from the April 7, 2026, City
Council workshop did not reflect the time of Councilmember Burch' s arrival. City
SecretaryMisty Cryer andMayor May confirmed that the minutes do, in fact, accurately
document the time of Councilmember Burch' s arrival. There were no other questions or
comments.
2. Consider an Ordinance 2026-007 modifying someconditions on the existing Specific
Use Ordinance ( SUP) 2018-026 on 67 acres located at 1622 Greig Drive on MCAD
Parcel ID# 403899 ( O' CAMPO C Acres 68. 992).
The council discussed the SUP and what brought this back to the council.
CouncilmemberRogersinquired as to why certain items relatedto the SUPhad not been
addressed. Mr. Lemin explained that the matter was due to staff turnover and related
circumstances. CouncilmemberRogersalso questionedthe attendanceof the Planning
andZoningCommission;Mr. Harrellconfirmedthattherewerenoissueswith attendance.

Board member Bearden made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 26, 2026,
andFebruary23, 2026, ParksandRecreationBoardMeetings. BoardmemberMyers
secondedthe motion. The motion passedunanimously, 5-0.
3. Updatefrom City Manager regarding the Park Survey/Questionnairefrom the city.
City ManagerCraigLeminreviewedtheresultsfrom theParkSurvey/Questionnaire. He
statedtherewere345participants. He statedthis is a snapshotof whatthosewho
participatedfeel aboutparksin thecommunity. BoardmemberMyersstatedhe felt the
exercise equipment could be updated and signed. Chairperson Contreras stated she felt the
surveygaveagoodreadandthathavingatown hall meetingwouldhelpmovethings
forwardwith gettingcitizensonboardfor makingthechangestheywantto see. Board
membersdiscussedcomments/responsesthat were made on the survey and feel that they
received good feedback.
