County Commissioners

The Waldo County Commissioners approved the 2026 budget of $14,819,166.64, a 15.97% increase from the prior year, driven largely by health insurance costs and a consolidated IT budget. They also approved warrants totaling $900,960.47, accepted $3,021.50 in drug forfeiture funds, and authorized Commissioner Kevin Kelley to handle the Congress Street Hill Property LLC annual report. Several items were tabled, including Maritime Energy agreement renewals and a documentary proposal for the county's 200th anniversary.
