Board of Appeal and Equalization

The Steele County Board of Appeal and Equalization will hear property owner appeals and review the county's 2026 assessment report. The board is scheduled to approve the assessor's final appeals report after public comment.

The Steele County Board of Appeal and Equalization approved the updated 2026 Property Owner Appeals Report. The report included three additional property owners beyond the initial version presented. The meeting also included the administration of oaths of office to several commissioners.

Steele County Board Work Session

The Steele County Board will discuss a cannabis ordinance amendment, a highway project update, and non-profit community partner award recommendations. A Master Gardener presentation is also scheduled.
