City Council to consider zoning code amendment allowing accessory dwelling units
The Grimes City Council will hold public hearings and first consideration of three ordinances: a planned unit development (PUD) amendment for James Place, a comprehensive zoning code amendment covering accessory dwelling units, Board of Adjustment, architecture, rezoning consent, and fireworks regulation, and a nuisance/street maintenance/building code amendment. The council will also consider a second reading of a PUD regulation amendment, a five-year utility rate study, a sports facilities optimization study, a REAP grant application for Meadows Park, and a Brenton Slough transportation study MOU.
