The regular meeting of the Granby Board of Health was held by conference call/Zoom and
opened at 7:00PM.
Those present: Lee Lalonde, William Shaheen and Mael Walkowiak
Those in attendance: Neil Jackson, Alan Weiss, Eva Gingras, Paul Gallagher, Dakota Richards
1. The Board discussed mosquito dunks. Some years ago, the Board was able to obtain
dunks and offer them to the residents at a low cost. The Board instructed the Assistant
to inquire about dunks to PVMCD to see if these may be available. This will be
discussed at the next meeting.
2. Board members Lee, Bill and Mael approved the meeting minutes of June 30, 2026.

The regular meeting of the Granby Board of Health was held by conference call/Zoom and
opened at 7:00PM.
TTiose present: Lee Lalonde, William Shaheen and Mael Walkowiak
Those in attendance: Neil Jackson, Alan Weiss, Tom Quinlan, Steve Sabourin, Ray Mann, Sarah
Voiland
1. The Board and Tom Quinlan discussed the complaint regarding unregistered cars and
old tires at 16 Griswold Circle. Tom will send a letter to the owners regarding
unregistered cars. The Board instructed the Assistant to send a letter to the owners to
remove the tires due to the standing water in the tires being a breeding ground for
mosquitoes.
2. The Board discussed with Steve Sabourin of 10 Taylor Street, his proposed plan to
construct a garage and porch. The Board advised Mr. Sabourin to contact an installer
to find the exact location of his leachfield so that he does not put the garage on it or
closer than 10 feet to the leachfield.
3. Board members Lee, Bill and Mael approved the meeting minutes of June 16,2026.

1. The Board reorganized. Mael made a motion to nominate Bill and Lee as co-chair for
the Board of Health. Bill seconded the motion, all were in favor.
2. Bill and Lee recognized Dick Bombardier for being dedicated to public service for 52
years for the Town of Granby.
3. Mael Walkowiak was elected to the Board May 18, 2026.
4. Board members Lee, and Bill approved the meeting minutes of May 5,2026.
5. Board members Lee and Bill approved Colleen's time sheet ending 5/16/26 and the
money tumover for 5/19/26.
