Council
Council will vote on purchasing seven manufactured homes for workforce housing.
The Angel Fire Village Council will consider several approvals, including recognition of an officer, updates to the village ordinance, and a request to issue an RFP for seven manufactured homes for a workforce housing project. The council will also act on a night‑sky code review, a proclamation for International Dark‑Sky Week, and a renewable meal‑reimbursement agreement for wildland personnel. Greg Ralph gave his report:
1. Greg Ralph is attended the New Mexico Tourism Day meetings January 26". Angel Fire
will have a booth to highlight continuing projects.
2. Greg Ralph may also become a member of the board of directors
3. Bret Wier and Jake will also be attending the breakfast.
Old Business:
1. STR Granicus update:
a. Software launched Dec 11'*
b. Currently 193 are fully compliant, not counting AFR and Resort properties.
c. Dec 15", Jan 8t & Jan 13 non-compliance letters sent with 45 new properties
added. Most were not aware of the policy but are happy to comply
Meeting today with Airbnb to fix Airbnb not collecting required fees
e. VRBO is being audited to find non-compliance properties

1. New staff: Tourism office hired Marcus to start next Tuesday. He already has experience

A. Complete Governance Document:
Note: The purpose for this meeting is for the workforce housing committee to complete the governance
document so it can be presented to Council for approval on January 13. For example, the governance
document refers to things like, a pet policy needs to be established. In the governance document, we should
not refer to additional policy documents. The governance document should describe within it what the pet
policy is. Any references to other policy documents need to be defined within the governance document.
