The Board of Education of Howard County met virtually in closed session on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. A motion was made in a public virtual meeting by Ms. Ricks that the Board go into closed session pursuant to Section 3-305(b) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to discuss negotiations and public security. The motion was seconded by Dr. Chen and approved (7/0).
