  Approved School Board Workshop Minutes Tuesday, February 3, 2026 - 12PM Professional Learning Lab   The Dickinson Public School Board held a Board workshop on February 3, 2026, at the Dickinson Public Schools Professional Learning Lab.  Board members present were Vice President Kim Schwartz, Board Member Brent Seaks, Board Member Jason Rodakowski, and Board Member David Wilkie.  Also present were Superintendent Dr. Marcus Lewton, Assistant Superintendent Melanie Kathrein, Assistant Superintendent Keith Harris, Business Manager Stephanie Hunter, and School Board Secretary, Lenée Bookhardt.   Call to Order – Board President Michelle Orton called the workshop to order at 12:00 p.m.   Build the February 9, 2026, Regular School Board Meeting Agenda - Superintendent Dr. Lewton addressed the board.  He shared that he and President Orton are closely monitoring student enrollment as it relates to employment positions that need to be filled.    Under the Superintendent’s report, Dr. Lewton will highlight the certified teacher of the year (Peter Fritz at Prairie Rose Elementary) and classified staff member of the year (Elizabeth Schmitt at Heart River Elementary).  Marathon Petroleum provided both individuals gas gift cards.   The district is in the hiring season.  SWCTE Aaron Anderson is in discussions with another group to help share the cost of a military instructor.
