Circulation Aide Larissa Orman attended to take minutes and present the digital Board packet. Jason Guffey was absent. Kathleen Godfrey attended the beginning of the meeting to report on her new position at the library. 2. Public Comment No public comment 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1. Approval of Minutes from 12.2.25 Library Advisory Board Meeting Motion to approve the minutes made by Erin Howard, seconded by Lorraine Ekegren and passed unanimously. 4. Discussion Agenda 4.1 Introduce New Children’s Librarian Alina called Kathleen up to the podium, and Kathleen reintroduced herself. She has been here as the library specialist for about 12 years. Kathleen has been the primary backup children’s librarian for and applied for the youth services position in December, went through the interview process, and started in January. She is currently working both positions until her replacement arrives. She is excited to work with the youth. She is looking forward to working with Rebecca more as Rebecca continues to work with the teens. It will be a new challenge to keep up with all the different aspects.
