The Brighton City Council will hold a public hearing and first reading on a zoning map amendment for about 232 acres south of Bromley Lane, west of South 27th Avenue, north of East 144th Avenue, and east of the South 19th Avenue alignment, changing the designation from Case Farms PUD to R-2, R-3, C-3, and O. The council will also consider final approval of an ordinance amending election, council procedures, and appropriations sections of the municipal code, and initial approval of an ordinance allowing Brighton Youth Commission members to serve on the Sustainability Advisory Board. Next summer anyone interested over 13 can volunteer as a counselor at an adult special needs camp
❖ BYC inductions
Inductions will be on august 4th, ALL NEW MEMBERS MUST GO. Tawnya will send out the induction list
soon, but if you’ve been on the youth commission for 2 years now, you will also have to go.

Elections will be happening on august 6th! All roles will be explained at the next meeting, if
you would like to run please be ready with a speech on election day
