CALL TO ORDER
Clerk C. Homan assured the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is in compliance with all Sunshine Law
notices. The meeting was called to order at 5:15pm in the Front Conference Room, located at 631
Perry Street, by Chairman S. Korhn.
1. Approval of Minutes from the January 19, 2026 Meeting
Motion: N. Walker made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 19, 2026
meeting as presented. T. Whetstone seconded the motion. All members voted aye,
and the motion carried.

A. Entry Level Police Officer
C, Homan stated the current Entry Level Police Officer list is set to expire in September 2026. The
City is requesting the list be marked expired due to an inadequate number of viable candidates and
another round of testing be scheduled.
The current list was reviewed and it was mentioned candidates remaining on the list should be
contacted to be given the option to carry over their scores.
Motion: Chairman S. Korhn made a motion to declare the existing list expired due to a
low number of viable candidates. Those on the list should be contacted to see if they

CALL TO ORDER
Clerk C. Homan assured the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is in compliance with all Sunshine Law
notices. The meeting was called to order at 5:15pm in the Front Conference Room, located at 631
Perry Street, by Chairman S. Korhn.
1. Approval of Minutes from the December 15, 2025 Meeting
Motion: N. Walker made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 15, 2025
meeting as presented. T. Whetstone seconded the motion. All members voted aye,
and the motion carried.
2. NEW BUSINESS
A. Entry Level/Lateral Transfer Firefighter
L. Lambert stated the City is requesting to mark the current Entry Level Firefighter list expired due to
an inadequate number of viable candidates and to start another round of testing. The current list is
set to expire in March 2026 but the department would like to get a jump start on the testing. It is
believed one current firefighter will be putting in their resignation soon because they are moving out of
the area.
The current list was reviewed and it was mentioned candidates remaining on the list should be
contacted to be given the opt
