✓ Decidido: Council approves firefighter grant, election resolution, and police/fire labor deals
The Red Bluff City Council approved the 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant for a new fire engine, adopted resolutions to place the Treasurer and Clerk positions on the November 2026 ballot and set management salaries, and adopted MOUs with the Police Officers' Association and Police Mid-Managers Association. The Firefighters' Association MOU was continued to the next meeting. The council also approved a lot line adjustment ordinance and a legal services agreement for PFAS-related civil actions.
- Approved the 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) for a new fire engine.
- Adopted Resolution 08-2026 ordering a November 2026 election for Treasurer and Clerk positions.
- Adopted Resolution 09-2026 setting management and mid-management salaries and benefits.
- Adopted Resolution 10-2026 setting salaries and benefits for the Red Bluff Police Mid-Managers Association.
- Adopted the Police Officers' Association MOU for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.
- Continued the Firefighters' Association MOU to the next regular meeting.
- Approved first reading of an ordinance amending RBMC §20.6(A) on lot line adjustments and voluntary mergers.
- Approved a legal services agreement for representation in PFAS-related civil actions.

The Council approved a three-year agreement with the Chamber of Commerce for $85,000, after denying a motion for $100,000. They also approved a resolution waiving building permit and inspection fees for donated playground equipment at Trainor Park, and approved various lease amendments and contract extensions. The consent agenda was approved, including a new public records request ordinance.
