There were no new detailed financial reports to review from City Hall due to City Council meeting schedules. STAFF UPDATE Ken reported we’ve received a supply of Astoria/Warrenton brochures for the welcome center after a period of not having anything to offer for the area. We have the updated Oregon Coast Visitor’s Association guide, too, as well as a new driver for Certified Folder Displays, which should mean we’ll be well-stocked going forward. Ken also provided an update on our Beach Towel Tuesdays promo and foot traffic on Sundays. STATS May tourism stats were reviewed. Tourism Advisory Committee

Seaside signs two‑year KGW weather‑cam contract delivering free exposure

The Tourism Advisory Committee approved moving future meetings to 2 p.m. and reviewed its role worksheet. Nate Burke has been hired as a back-up visitor information specialist. Jim Beasley has become the regular part-time visitor information specialist with weekly hours, including holidays.
