Arbor Month Event & Giveaway. Senior Planner Crow shared the flyer and postcards
regarding the event with the committee. The types of trees that will be given away and
information about them was discussed.
The committee discussed current canopy coverage and expressed excitement about the
upcoming event on April 25th from 10-2.
The tree planting event will happen on April 4th at 10. Chris and Leni chose a Cascara
tree to plant. It is native and ornamental.

Hayes explained that law enforcement faced increased demands for accountability and
transparency, and accreditation was one step toward building community trust.

Birdseye, Amy Merryday, Linda Olson, Joyce Settelmeyer, Chris Wagner, and Johanna Zee.

Public hearings on rezoning McKinley Ave lots and Hayden Homes subdivision

Chair Parsons called the meeting to order at 6 :00 p.m.

Commissioner Burns made a motion to elect Chair Parson to continue as Chair. Commissioner
Burback moved to approve, Chair Colton seconded . Commissioner Burback made a motion for
Commissioner Hermansen to continue as Vice Chair. Commissioner Burns moved to approve,
Chair Colton seconded.
The Commission voted all in favor, 6-0, to elect Commissioner Parson as Chair and
Commissioner Hermansen as Vice Chair.
Staff advised that this hearing had been advertised and publicized and notices posted as required by law.
It was asked that any correspondence received be noted as a part of the item on the agenda.
