NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as is practical there will be a public hearing before the Altoona City Council at Altoona
City Hall, 1303 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, to consider amending Title 19 of the Altoona Municipal

Committee to consider Eagle Scout hammock forest and tennis records board proposals
The Altoona Parks & Recreation Committee will discuss and consider two proposals: an Eagle Scout project to build a hammock forest at Altoona City Park, and a request from the boys tennis coach to install a records board and state championship banner at the city park tennis courts. The committee will also receive updates on Whitetail Woods Park construction and the 2027-2031 Park Master Plan. No final decisions are expected on the updates; the committee may make recommendations on the two proposals.
