City Council - Maximum Millage Meeting

Council sets proposed FY2027 property tax rates for city and two districts

The City Council is voting on three resolutions to adopt proposed maximum millage rates for FY2027: 5.7000 mills for the city operating budget, 0.2637 mills for voted debt service, 0.9707 mills for the Plantation Midtown Development District, and 1.7108 mills for the Plantation Gateway Development District. These resolutions also set public hearing dates for the tentative budget and direct transmittal of information to the Broward County Property Appraiser by August 4, 2026.
