The board also adopted Local Law 1-2026 amending the town's taxation chapter, approved the sale of 5.33 acres at 40 Pirson Parkway to Peak Development, LLC for $280,000 subject to permissive referendum, and approved a municipal grant agreement with Sheridan Parkside Life Center related to the Sheridan Parkside Community Center. All votes were unanimous (5-0).

Discussion was held and Committee members were advised that the SWPPP application and TENORM study have been received. The SWPPP application is being reviewed but it was noted that the water will flow into catch basins and be split to direct to existing DOT stormwater connections. The application does include the new building showing roof drainage . It was also noted that the TENORM study indicated normal levels with no exceedance. Committee members also discussed the need for a site plan that shows the potential phasing of the project to reflect the conditions represented in the SWPPP.
