And I know u this is one uh opportunity that we had discussed um as sets the stage for bringing in uh all the types of uh hospitality and uh maximizing the use of the convention center in in ways that um we as an independent operator were not uh able to do. Planning and Zoning Board - Public Hearing

Board to weigh rezoning 153 acres near Hawes and Elliot roads

The Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing and vote on a consent agenda that includes a major General Plan amendment and a related rezoning for the Hawes Crossing Village 7 project, covering about 153 acres at the southeast corner of South Hawes Road and East Elliot Road. The board will make a recommendation to the City Council on these items, which would allow future development of state land. The agenda also includes approval of minutes from two previous meetings.

General Plan amendment GPA26-00161: change 29.7 acres from Urban Center to Urban Residential and 73.2 acres from Local Employment Center to Urban Residential

Mesa Design Review Board to discuss 6 preliminary design cases

The Design Review Board will hold a study session to discuss and provide direction on six preliminary design review cases, including multi-family housing, a credit union, a commercial development, an RV service building expansion, an industrial development, and an outdoor storage expansion.
