If we have a brutally hot summer with no rain like last year, may need to supplement on the weekends.  Idea to Bring Color to South Main Street: I would like to propose hayrack baskets on posts as seen in Kinsman Co. catalog. 3 or 4 of these hayracks along the canal ‘berm’ would add color and interest to an otherwise very boring area! APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the October 16, 2025 Planning Commission meeting were approved. I. Planning Commission Reorganization The Planning Commission conducted its annual reorganization. Keith Voss was re-elected as Chair and Lawrence Greenberg was re-elected as Vice Chair. II. Comprehensive Plan Update Chair Voss passed the gavel to Lou Bellafronte for discussion related to the Comprehensive Plan. A. Comprehensive Plan Index There was a discussion regarding the potential development of a comprehensive index for the Comprehensive Plan. Jeremy, of the Bucks County Planning Commission (BCPC), the consultant for the Comprehensive Plan, noted that an index is not commonly included in comprehensive plans. It was agreed to revisit the need for an index after review of the draft plan. It was also noted that the Borough's emergency plan should be incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan. B. New Hope Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB)

Historic Architectural Review Board will review four property improvement applications

The board will formally review applications for property modifications at 50 South Main Street, 43 North Main Street, 4 West Mechanic Street, and 45 South Main Street. The items include replacing roll‑up garage doors with French doors, installing a sign, exterior painting of windows and trim, and in‑kind carpentry, painting and masonry repairs to a springhouse. The board will also continue discussion on the HARB ordinance.

✓ Decidido: Council appoints Roger Green to fill vacancy and approves multiple board appointments

The council elected Kenneth Maisel as President and Michele Becci as Vice‑President. They appointed Roger Green to fill the council vacancy through Dec 31 2027. The council approved resolutions to designate banking depositories, to appoint borough offices and positions, and to name Ed Duffy as Vacancy Board Chair.
