about $80,000 of, you know, $80,000 roughly, for each of them. And that's just for clinical supervision training. So the public, we're just requesting more documentation. We're requesting transparency on where that is and where those public funds are going, how the, you know, how that's getting divvied up and what actually is entailed in this training. Okay, thank you. >> Good morning, Chair, members of the board. I'm going to support the last two community members that just spoke. Again, my name is Amethyst Yates. I am the assistant Director of the Family Reunification Equity and Empowerment Project at Starting Over. So today I'm asking for that oversight. I'm asking that we make sure that the money is well spent and that allocation is approved before we get to the aftermath of money misuse. And that's all I have. Thank you. >> Thank you very much. Do I have a motion? >> Motion. >> Second. >> Thank you for the motion. The second. All those in favor? >> Aye. >> Any opposed? She now uses her story to bring hope to others. New Life Ministries was launched in 2020 to provide practical help and lasting hope to children and families across the high desert. In 2025, New Leaf distributed more than 400,000 pounds of food through its food bank. New Leaf is renowned for providing household and hygiene items, food and clothing to foster care programs, veterans and senior centers. Amanda believes the Lord restores what life has broken and she is committed to leading others to repair a return of hope after a season of despair. >> Good morning, everyone. I would like to call this meeting to order. Thank you all for joining us today. The county suffered a tragic loss this last week and I would like to take this moment to adjourn in memory and do it a little out of order for someone that was special to the county family. We will be adjourning this meeting in the memory of San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Nunez, who was killed in the line of duty on October 27th. He was historically heroically responding to a call of a woman who was being threatened by an armed man. Deputy Nunez grew up in Rancho Cucamonga and was hired as a deputy trainee in 2019. He served the department for six years and worked out of the Ranch Cucamonga station until 2023. Since 2023, I'm sorry. He was gaining experience on patrol and wanted to eventually transfer to the specialized enforcement division. He is survived by his wife Roxy, who is expecting their second daughter in December, their two year old daughter, his parents and four siblings. We are so incredibly grateful for Deputy Nunez's service to our community and keep. We are keeping his family and our fellow deputy and law enforcement officers in our prayers today. We have any board members that would like to say a few words? >> Thank you, Madam Chair. You know, my wife and the entire Baca family just, you know, we want to give our deepest condolences on the passing of Deputy Andrew Nunez. Deputy Nunez served our county with courage and compassion, leaving b …

>> Good morning, everyone. I'd like to call this meeting to order and thank you all for joining us today. This morning, our pledge of allegiance and invocation will be presented by the second District. >> Thank you, Madam Chair. I want to start by introducing someone who really needs no introduction. She's been with the county for over four years. She is the deputy executive officer over government and legislative affairs. And through my tenure here has became not just a friend, but someone I can look to as a woman of God. A woman who's demonstrated to me her. Her fundamental and her religious beliefs without a fault. She's happily married with three young boys. She's a member of Chino Hills Calvary Chapel. And without any further ado, I'd like to ask Leah Fletch this. I probably butchered it again, but to come on up. >> Good morning and thank you so much for the invitation to provide the prayer today. I truly appreciate your leadership. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands for us. Yes. Establish the work of our hands. Father, we come before you with gratitude for the calling to serve. Thankful that if we ask, you will direct the works of our hands. We thank you for the honor and privilege to gather in your name. We are indebted to those who gave their lives for the freedom we're enjoying this very moment. >> Good morning. I'd like to thank you all for joining us here today. This morning, our pledge of Allegiance and invocation will be presented by the First District. >> Yes, I am. I'm honored today to introduce Pastor Aaron Seeger. He is currently serving as the interim pastor at Church of the Valley, located in town of Apple Valley. Prior to this position, he had been involved with various churches through filling up pulpits. I didn't know you had to do that. Offering pastoral care and giving guidance and leadership with the goal of strengthening churches across the high desert. In 2005, the pastor received a BA Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Cal State San Bernardino, and in 2019, a master's in theology from Dallas Theological Cemetery, located in Dallas, Texas. He has been married to his wife, Pam, for the past 22 years. Together they have two children, a son who is sophomore at Victor Valley College and a daughter who is a senior at Hesperia High School. He has a passion for preaching and teaching God's Word, and his favorite Bible verse is found in Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. In addition to pastoring, he loves coaching boys and girls tennis at his local high school and getting involved with the community. So, Pastor, wherever you are, I see you. >> Yes, you do. >> Best dressed again, right? >> That's right. Thank you, C …
