followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Sue Knight.

Lovitt, Bob Cox, Sue Knight, and Paul Schmidt. Also in attendance were Mayor Kevin Hardman,
President Paul Culter, Safety Service Director Jim Lukas, Law Director Charles Lippert, Auditor Ed
Cunningham, Treasurer Kurt Irey, and Department Heads: Finance Director Scott McKeehan, Public
Works Director Steve Busam, Director David McCandless, and Police Chief Jim Nesbit.
2. PUBLIC HEARING: 2027 TAX BUDGET
a. A public hearing was held to introduce the 2027 tax budget as required by law. President Culter
called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. Finance Director Scott McKeehan provided an
overview, explaining that the budget, filed with the county auditor, demonstrates the city’s solvency
and ensures compliance with state requirements. If the auditor determined the city was not
financially solvent, a tax millage could be imposed, though this is rare. More detailed budget work
will begin in August. No questions were raised, no public comments were offered. President Culter
closed the public hearing at 7:05 p.m.

2026 to order at 6:30 p.m.

In attendance for the roll call were Board of Zoning Appeals members: Mr. Daniel Kloppenburg, Mr.

Mr. Daniel Kloppenburg called the regular Sharonville Board of Zoning Appeals meeting of January 14,
2026 to order at 6:30 p.m.
Roll Call
o In attendance for the roll call were Board of Zoning Appeals members: Mr. Daniel Kloppenburg, Mr.
Mike Chaney, Mrs. Franca Burton, Mr. Steve Marshall, Mr. Casey Carrigan and Mr. Rob Tankersley. Mr.
Matt Eggenberger was absent.

Director), Mr. Gabriel Rhoads (City Planner), Ms. Kimberly Price (Administrative Specialist –
Community Development), and Ms. Reagan Bletzinger (Community Development Intern). Council

for the department’s support of the active and reserve military personnel, recognizing the
hardship it causes having an employee deployed or at drill. The award is a sign of appreciation
from the Department of Defense, Garden Reserve. Mayor Hardman was pleased to receive such
