Mr. Singer called the meeting to order at 6:10 pm at Human Resource Building. Board Member Present: Mr. Alexander, Mr. Kiernan, Mr. Singer, Ms. Urbanski Other Attendees: Councilman DeSantis, Ms. Chandler, Ms. Figueiredo New Business: 1. Mr. Singer held a discussion about Little League. He stated he would like to hold Rookie Ball March 21st. Possibly at 10 am. He would also like to have a Little League show case on the same day around 11:30 am. That way the kids in these sports could still attend the rec egg hunt later on in the day if they wanted. 2. Ms. Chandler discussed the registration numbers for each of the spring sport activities that are currently open. Those sports include softball, baseball and t-ball. 3. Ms. Chandler discussed volleyball (4th-12th grade) and how the registration hasn’t been as big this year for the older ages, but it was still a good amount of people interested in it that have signed up. Councilman DeSantis asked if there was anything different with volleyball that could have caused a slight decrease in numbers. Ms. Chandler confirmed that the instructor was the same and everyone registered is still happy with this program. The younger kids program had a lot of sign ups, plus a wait list. The South River Borough Council adopted the amended Rules of the Borough Council with Robert’s Rules of Order for 2026 (Resolution 2026‑1). Mayor Guindi administered oaths of office to councilmember‑elect Joseph Donato and councilmember‑elect Sandra DaSilva.
