The Springfield City Council will hold its regular meeting on September 8, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Room 101-103 of the Regional Police-Fire Training Center. The body will consider final passage of several ordinances, including a $3.36M sewer bond issue, a 33-acre annexation near West Chestnut and Independence, and a contract for the 2028 Olympic torch relay.
