Agriculture Development Board

Board will review the Right to Farm process

Open Space Committee

Open Space Committee reviews acquisition and foot bridge updates

The Sussex County Open Space Advisory Committee will consider a potential land acquisition in Franklin Borough and receive an update on the Cranberry Lake foot bridge. Board of County Commissioners

Board adopts 3.5% budget increase cap and approves key contracts

The Sussex County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution to raise the CY 2026 budget by 3.5%, adding $2,551,652.35 and creating a cap‑bank allowance. They also confirmed two appointments to the County Technical School Board of Education and the Planning Board. Solid Waste Advisory Council

Council will discuss the Food Waste Reduction Strategy amendment

The Sussex County Solid Waste Advisory Council will meet remotely on February 10, 2026.
