Gambier Village Council January 5, 2026 Reorganizational Meeting Council Present: Phil Brooks, Liz Forman, Alison Furlong, Morgan Giles, Calvin Murphy, Alec Wood. Also, attending: Leeman Kessler, Mayor; Courtney DeCosky, Village Administrator; Diane Lay, Fiscal Officer; Clinton Bailey, Solicitor; Elizabeth Bonaudi, resident; Matt Bonaudi, resident. Virtual, attending: Hailey Luong, Kenyon college student; Joe Murphy, resident. Mayor Kessler called the Meeting to Order at 6:31 p.m. Swearing-in Ceremony Mayor Kessler proceeded to Swear in Elizabeth (Liz) Forman, Calvin Murphy, Alec Wood and Philip (Phil) Brooks into office for their Elected Council terms beginning January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2029. Council Business: 1. Call for nominations and election of Council President A motion was made to nominate Morgan Giles as Council President, Council Giles accepted the nomination, no other nominees where made.
