Yonkers Council to vote on $6.67M grant for Troublesome Brook flood fixes
The City Council will consider a special ordinance to accept a $6,666,667 NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation Resilient Watersheds Grant for Troublesome Brook resiliency improvements and amend the city's grant budget. They will also vote on resolutions to seek lead agency status for SEQRA review of the brook project, approve an inter-municipal agreement with Westchester County for a firing range, and ratify a collective bargaining agreement with Local 456 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Several ceremonial proclamations and requests for state legislation on retirement eligibility and NYSHIP aid are also on the agenda.
