Mabel C. Fry Public Library Board Meeting Wednesday, January 21, 2026 The meeting was called to order. The library has one open 19 hr. position that they’ve been give the go ahead to start the process to fill. They’ve been very busy and having more staff will help keep their standard of service high. The library’s monthly statistics were reviewed. Noted was the addition of the young adult programmer. She’s getting a handle on YA programs and hopefully an increase in the number of programs should be seen Shawna pointed out that eBooks and downloadable audiobook usage went from neck and neck to downloadable audiobooks surpassing the eBooks usage. She will start to allocate more funding toward digital resources and keep up with and watch those digital trends.
