Finance Committee and Select Board: FY26 year-end transfers

The Finance Committee met June 23 (jointly with the Select Board) and again July 1 to consider and possibly approve year-end transfers for fiscal year 2026. The Select Board agenda for June 23 also included a vote on exercising the town's right of first refusal for Lot A-2 off West Street, owned by John B. Reichenbach, under MGL Chapter 61. Other Select Board agenda items included a canvassing and solicitation bylaw, a Town Meeting Study Committee final report, a climate vulnerability presentation, and the appointment of Kyra Prats to the Environmental Sustainability Committee. Conservation Commission: wetland hearings and Woodward Village easements

The Conservation Commission scheduled public hearings June 25 for a sewage system upgrade at 343 Bedford Road and a home addition and retaining wall at 253 Nowell Farm Road. The agenda also listed a vote to accept Woodward Village Pedestrian Trail and Public Access Easements, payment approvals for Richey & Clapper ($16,295) and SumCo ($10,580), and a request to modify herbicide use for the Foss Farm Agricultural License. School Committee: interim superintendent and preschool fees
