Fenton City Council weighs over $1 million Millpond Park contract; Planning Commission to revisit Picasso Landscaping

Fenton's City Council is set to vote on more than $1 million in construction work for Phase III of the Millpond Park Improvement Project, the largest single expenditure among several items on the June 22 council agenda. Minutes from the meeting have not yet been published, so final outcomes are not yet confirmed.

City Council — June 22

The council agenda listed a construction award to Evergreen Landscape Group for $1,019,490.04 for Phase III of the Millpond Park Improvement Project. Related items on the same agenda included OHM construction services for Millpond Park Phase III up to $155,000 and G2 Consulting Group geotechnical services for Millpond Park up to $22,000.

The agenda also included several vehicle and equipment purchases: a 2027 Freightliner cab and chassis for $134,445; body upfitting for a tandem axle dump truck for $189,400; two Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks for the DPW for $97,682; and snowplows and a liftgate for $24,048. A WSP groundwater discharge permit renewal was listed at up to $8,800.
