Community & Economic Development: BID appointments and grants
On July 1, the committee recommended confirmation of Kristin Kurzka and Sandra Armstrong to BID #26 and Deantrium King to BID #37, each 5-0. The committee recommended a $10,000 appropriation for a 2nd District Back to School Festival (5-0) and recommended adoption of the 2027 Funding Allocation Plan for community development grants (5-0).
Public Safety and Health: Lead abatement recommended
On July 2, the committee recommended a lead hazard abatement resolution for residential properties (5-0), along with parking and traffic control ordinances (each 5-0). John Fletcher was recommended for appointment to the Safety and Civic Commission (5-0).
