Recent meetings: minutes not yet published
The Pasco City Council held three public sessions over the past two weeks, but minutes have not yet been published for any of them, so formal outcomes and vote tallies are not available.

On June 23, the Council held a special joint meeting with the Chamber of Commerce to discuss economic development, business growth, and community priorities. No votes or formal actions were scheduled.
On June 24, the Arts and Culture Commission reviewed a call for art for STCU box wraps, discussed a potential STCU mural, and reviewed the Noburo "Peanuts" Fukuda statue plaque.
Coming up
July 6 — City Council Regular Meeting. The Council will consider approving bills totaling $6,863,260.41 and adopting Ordinance No. 4847, which would regulate short-term rentals. Members will also consider setting a date for a public hearing on annexing the Goodwin property. The agenda includes a presentation on a Pasco Economic Development Project and discussion of a Harris Road Realignment Agreement.
July 7 — Historic Preservation Commission. The commission will continue discussions on the design and placement of a plaque for the Sylvester Donation, including materials, size (approximately 36"x24", possibly 48" wide), wording, and family names. Members will also discuss a QR code on a secondary plaque and whether to include exact dates. An update on the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center guard rails is scheduled. No public hearings are planned.
July 8 — Hearing Examiner. The Hearing Examiner will consider Special Use Permit SP2026-006, a request by Steve Culbert to develop a 1.00-acre contractor's plant or storage yard on an unaddressed lot between 3713 and 3905 E. A Street. Because the site is within 300 feet of a residential district, a special permit is required. The agenda includes SEPA 2026-010 Determination of Non-Significance for grading and fencing, and discussion of required buffers, including a 6-foot concrete block fence and irrigated landscaping. The site is in a C-3 General Business zone.
